ALONG CAME A SPIDER 

Produced as part of ITV West's Freeze Frame series, this 15 minute film enters the weird and wonderful world of Bristol-based artist Louise Short, who has an obsession with collecting ephemera.

'I have a fascination with things that are on the point of disappearance or seem to be so fragile that they can't sustain the pressures of daily life,' explains the artist.  In the film, she lamp blacks a piece of glass in order to record the tracks of a tarantula which she then releases onto its surface.
