THREE CHOIRS OF THE SEVERN VALE 

The annual Three Choirs Festival is the subject of this documentary.  Every year the choirs of Worcester, Hereford and Gloucester Cathedrals perform together in what is claimed to be the oldest surviving non-competitive music festival in the world.  With its roots in the early 1700's, the programme looks at the festival's fascinating history while following the choirs preparing for the highlight of their musical diary.
